Ready for cruising on a motorbike.
Having teased images of a collaborative Nike sneaker earlier this month, the creative director and founder of AMBUSH, Yoon Ahn, has shared that a selection of garments will be joining the vibrant green Dunk high’s.
Inspired by Japan’s motorcycle subculture, the collection mirrors the protective wear that is created for riders. The clothing forefronts pink and neon green, which Ahn says is a “nod to Tokyo’s bright lights and anime culture, illustrating the surprising ways sport can transform the aesthetics of daily life.” These bold hues are used for jackets, trousers and t-shirts that have been created as functional items for motorbike driving.
See the lookbook that Yoon Ahn shared on Instagram below, which features her and musician Megan Thee Stallion posing in front of a motorbike. The unisex AMBUSH X Nike FA2021 Collection taking is releasing on July 30 in Japan and Worldwide.
