PAUSE Picks: 5 Sneaker Releases of the Week

Adidas Ozelia Khaki

One of our favourite pairs of affordable sneakers, the Adidas Ozelia has been given a Khaki makeover. Transforming every element of the sneaker into a light khaki hue, the futuristic-looking sneaker also features recycled materials.

Axel Arigato Ace Lo

Putting its own spin on the classic tennis sneaker, Axel Arigato has released the Ace Lo in a white and green colourway. Made in Portugal, this shoe utilises a 100% leather upper, embossed branding and perforated toe vamp.

Nike Air Force 1 07

Inspired by the pineapple, with the fruit being embroidered onto the tongue, this sneaker is the latest move in Nike’s quest to be more sustainable. Constructed from at least 20% of total recycled material, the cork upper is contrasted with “lime glow” detailing around the swoosh.

Adidas Originals X Human Race EQT Racing

Dropping in perfect time for summer, Pharell Williams’ sublabel with Adidas, titled “Human Race” has released arguably the most breathable sneaker in history. Featuring perforated mesh on much of the upper, there is a hole between the laces and toe box to ensure your feet remain cool.

New Balance X Ted Snyder 327

Taking inspiration from greenmarkets in New York City, designer Todd Snyder has designed a selection of New Balance 327 colourways. According to the designer, he wants the sneakers to remind people of how special it is “walking around a farmer’s market on a hot summer day.”
