New York-based designer Telfar Clemens has created an ode to the residents of his hometown along with Moose Knuckles.
Creating a seventeen-piece collection, this winter capsule is a reference to New Yorkers’ penchant for being able to get noticed while minding their own business. In a statement, designer Telfar Clements said of the collection that, “This is designed specifically for everyone. If I don’t see it in the street every day it didn’t really happen.”
TELFAR has playfully experimented with Moose Knuckles’ signature luxury outerwear by creating a monogram motif from its “TC” logo and engineered it into bands of nylon puff across the pieces. These include a pair of ski trousers complete with fox fur trim, a mock-kneck sweatshirt, and, of course, a selection of bags.
The TELFAR shopping bag has been nothing short of a fashion phenomenon and it has been given a winter-proof nylon makeover for this collection. The label’s medium shopper bag is crafted in black nylon with its signature embossed logo whilst the large shopper features the puzzle-piece monogram motif that is used across the collection in trapunto nylon puff.
