The final BACARDÍ Spiced x Defected Presents: D-RUM Sessions session, part of the Livestream series in collaboration with the iconic house and dance music label Defected Records, is upon us.
The five-part series, which boasted a stellar lineup of artists, was recorded on Defected Records’ Twitch channel every Friday and was curated solely by the label. Comprising of Defected’s very own Monki, Afro-house trailblazer Kitty Amor, Glitterbox’s Melvo Baptiste, underground favourite and Moscow Records boss Archie Hamilton, house legend Spiller and Club Bad founder Melé.
In conjunction with DJ, TV presenter and socialite Maya Jama, the 27-year-old showcased her expertise during the sessions to introduce the artists and sessions with a friendly chin-wag prior to their performance.
Exclusively streamed live from Defected’s recently inaugurated east London headquarters, kitted out with state-of-the-art technology, each BACARDÍ Spiced x Defected Presents: D-RUM session was complete with an interview by Maya regarding the sounds and tracks that inspire them to spice up the party.
Friday 19th November marks the session’s finale and features Afro-house sensation, Kitty Amor.
