Aimé Leon Dore refuse to slow down.
Due to popular demand, Aimé Leon Dore is set to re-release their popular ‘Taupe’ iteration of the New Balance 993.
Despite a release of the same colourway in November 2021, as well as a ‘Beef and Broccoli’ version of the same shoe, Aimé Leon Dore favours the former amid the mass hysteria of the first drop. Inspired by New York City aesthetics, the shoe leans into 90s’ influences and with this particular colourway, with the brand borrowing the colour palette of MTA subway cars. The standout feature of this shoe is the contrasting mixture of suede and mesh on the upper, with this use of materials perfectly encapsulating the vibe of the ‘dad shoe’.
The Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 993 ‘Taupe’ is set to re-release on February 10th via the New Balance website.
