BAPE & Vans Come Together For SS22 Collaboration

By February 17, 2022Fashion News, Sneakers

Two streetwear powerhouses join forces.

Streetwear giants BAPE and Vans have come together for another footwear and clothing collaboration.

The main attraction of the collection is BAPE’s redesigning of the Vans SK8-Hi and Old Skool silhouettes, remastering the shoe with the brand’s signature mismatched camouflage.

From the officially released images, we can see that the SK8-Hi has been given a compete make-over as it dons the BAPE camouflage in pink, green, yellow, and blue shades in addition to a chequerboard upper, certainly making this pair a statement piece. The Old Skool silhouette has been given the classic BAPE treatment, as the brand cover the pair in a muted green for the upper with the overlays of the shoe including that statement green BAPE camouflage. Vans stay true to their brand and utilise the same materials that most of their SK8-Hi’s and Old Skool’s use, incorporating a suede base with overlays of smooth suede. Apparel is set to drop alongside this sneaker release, with matching camouflage t-shirts set to complete the capsule.

Check out campaign imagery below as the BAPE x Vans collection is set to drop on February 26th via the Vans and BAPE websites.
