After a long wait, sacai x ACRONYM® is almost here.
After teasing fashion-lovers for over 6 months, sacai and ACRONYM® are finally set to release their SS22 collaboration capsule next week.
In July, Chitose Abe’s sacai and Errolson Hugh’s ACRONYM® revealed that they had worked on a unisex capsule together, but never gave an official release date. After months of speculation, the collection is set to drop on February 4th in Japan and on sacai’s website.
Speaking earlier this year, ACRONYM® co-founder Errolson Hugh outlined this collaboration with sacai as a “true blend of the philosophies of both brands, where the sum is greater than the parts.” The collection’s ACRONYM®-based technical focus alongside sacai’s signature shapes yields a range of pieces that appeals to the Gorpcore crowd just as naturally as it does to the runway.
