Balmain’s Safa Sahin Reveals On-Feet Look at Triple Black “Unicorn” Sneaker

Balmain take futuristic to the extreme as they show off yet another iteration of the divisive “Unicorn” sneaker.

Revealed on Instagram via Safa Sahin- Balmain’s Head of Sneaker Design- the new iteration of the “Unicorn” sneaker comes in a triple black colourway and keeps the design style of the other previously teased pairs. The shoe sees a mixture of rubberised and matted materials alongside a glossy finish to provide a thoroughly futuristic aesthetic, with the sneakers’ pointed toe and swirling design really setting the pair apart. Some central features include an oversized cushioned suspension sole, a dual lacing system, as well as a branded lace lock and standard Balmain insignia.
