KAPPA’s latest ‘Winning Starts Within’ campaign follows up their ‘Keep Performing’ global campaign, looking to tell the stories of five inspirational people.
‘Winning Starts Within’ is a documentary-style series that looks to divulge the stories of five brand ambassadors, including Patrick (a tattooist), Yvon (a singer), Mahnoor (a Footballer), Tiarna (a Firefighter/Aerialist) and Leo (an Entrepreneur). Each of the ambassadors has been through a unique set of circumstances and challenges and have ultimately come through them, with this documentary looking to highlight how this came to be and what it truly means to win.
The campaign is headed by well-established stick and poke tattooist Patrick Bates, who out of his Brighton studio ‘Alright Tattoo’ has set the scene for people to chat about experiences, get tattooed, and try on KAPPA’s new garments for the upcoming season. KAPPA put forward the idea of tattooing as it represents a message to be remembered forever, with the process itself facilitating an open discussion about the meaning of the tattoo whilst placing your trust into a complete stranger.
The five ambassadors all received a ‘Winning Starts Within’ tattoo, looking to redefine what it means to be a true winner and emphasising the pain that you go through in the temporary only fuels a winning future. Check out the campaign imagery below.
