Seeing a meteoric rise in the last year or so, the Air Max 1 is making a big splash this Air Max Day as Nike unveil a trio of regional releases set to drop around the globe this month.
Nike Air Max Day always promises some heat, with this trio of regional exclusives providing sneakerheads around the globe with something to look forward to this month. Bound to be one of the biggest capsule releases of the year, the Nike Air Max 1 silhouette is celebrating its 35th anniversary in style as it announces a “Blueprint” colourway, a ladies-exclusive “La Ville-Lumière” edition, as well as the “Wabisabi” iteration.
The Nike Air Max 1 “Blueprint” comes in a baby blue and clear white colour scheme, alongside gridded details on the upper, with this shoe set to be a North American exclusive. Second in the line-up is the women’s only “La Ville-Lumière” edition, which takes an even more minimalist approach to the first through a white and bone grey upper in addition to navy trimmings, with the Air Max Day date being subtly placed along the tongue and sole. This version is set to be exclusive to Europe. Lastly, the Nike Air Max 1 “Wabisabi” goes craziest with its colour scheme, mixing and matching various earth tones alongside visibly heavy stitching. Expect this third iteration to drop in Latin America.
