adidas and Yohji Yamamoto are coming back together again to re-introduce the iconic Y-3 QASA HIGH sneaker, celebrating 20 years of collaboration.
Having first taken to the runway at Paris Fashion Week in October 2002 for the initial Y-3 collection, both adidas and Yohji Yamamoto haven’t looked back since, with the highlight of their respective collaboration coming in 2013 when the Y-3 QASA HIGH was released. Now making its triumphant return, the Y-3 QASA HIGH silhouette looks to celebrate 20 years of collaboration through its slightly modernised appearance, with the pair boasting an EVA outsole, a neoprene sock-like upper with stretch mesh, elasticated strapping, a leather toe-cap, and suede heel lining. Additionally, the pair prioritise comfort by including a Poron® performance sockliner that cushions the foot for optimum support.
The adidas x Yohji Yamamoto Y-3 QASA HIGH sneaker is set to re-release on May 25th via the adidas website.
