Japanese brand KAPITAL has made their return and released the first instalment from its Autumn/Winter 2022 collection, which looks to capture an American baseball aesthetic.
In typical fashion, KAPITAL has unveiled a wide slate of pieces for this AW22′ season, looking to encapsulate the timeless silhouettes of an American baseball uniform. The collection often references All-American Girls Professional Baseball League throughout the collection, with recurring “GREAT WOMEN BASEBALL 1943” text being found on an array of pieces such as baseball tops, multicoloured holdalls, gilets, zip-up Harrington-style jackets, and more. The Kojima-based brand doesn’t stop there though as they include a selection of alternate pieces that stray away from the theme, with some standouts including a pair of multi-patchwork denim flares, a Playboy inspired long-sleeve t-shirt and cropped denim-cotton cardigan, in addition to a dark tan button-up ‘GREAT COUNTRY HARDBALL’ gilet.
