PAUSE Picks: Top Sneaker Releases of the Week

Supreme have a knack for taking on left of centre Nike silhouettes, and they continue the trend here as they team up for three iterations of the Nike Zoom Air Flight 95. The standout pair arrive in a “University Blue” colourway, with the high-top sneaker boasting a swirling bandana print, suede overlays, and signature Nike embroidery on the toe box.

Proving to be the shoe brand of 2022, New Balance are reinventing their underrated 650 sneaker, which puts forward a high-top iteration of the infamous New Balance 550 silhouette. The release sees four colour iterations drop, with the main standout colourway being the perfectly neutral, and slightly pre-aged, “Grey’ version.

Providing the luxury touch to this week’s line-up is the Balenciaga Phantom logo-embossed mesh low-top trainers, which are a pair designed “to emulate the retro styles we all know and love.” The “Lime” coloured pair come with logo-embossed details, mesh panelling, and solid black branding trimmings, whilst also providing a leather free alternative to the rest of the selection.

Making the line-up for yet another week is the adidas Forum ’84 Low x M&M’s, with the latest range of releases from the duo seeing four new colour iterations release. The standout from the selection is the “Cloud White/Cardboard/Dark Brown” colourway, which features chocolate brown leather overlaying a crisp white base layer, in addition to an array of M&Ms branding on the toe box and midfoot.

To round-up this week’s range is the pgLang for Converse Chuck 70, which arrives in tandem with the founder Kendrick Lamar’s album roll out. The neutral take on the Converse classic features an all-white canvas upper and classic red and navy trimmings, with additional hiking eyelets, hang tags, and pgLang branding filling out the fine details.
