PAUSE Picks: Top Sneaker Releases of the Week

Imran Potato x Vans Vault Knu-Skool VR3 LX

Bringing back a classic can sometimes be risky business, especially when it comes to some of the iconic Vans silhouettes, but bootleg designer Imran Potato has done a stellar job redesigning the Vans Knu-Skool VR3 LX. The release sees several different colourways release, with the pick of the bunch arriving in a classic black and white colour iteration. The silhouette features an exaggerated Vans side stripe, chunky tongue, and Vans x Potato branding on the heel and sole.

Stussy x Nike Air Force 1 Mid

Joining the long line of Nike x Stussy collaborations is this variation of the Nike Air Force 1 Mid in Black/Grey, which arrives in a pack of three different colourways. This pair features a simple colour block design, utilising patent grey leather for the base of the upper and a textured black leather for the overlays. Traditional Stussy branding adorns the tongue and velcro strap, with a perforated ‘S’ Stussy logo on the toe box providing the standout flex.

Keen UNEEK SNK Trainers

Providing a wholly practical shoe for this week’s line-up is Keen, who have put forward their High Rise/Tillandsia Purple UNEEK SNK trainer. This particular colourway follows an LA Lakers-style colourway, utilising purple and yellow on the lacing toggles and heel area. This pair provides unmatched comfort, with Keen forming a contoured, adjustable fit that is composed of breathable knit and cord material, which is also made entirely from recycled plastic bottles.

Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Clog

Providing sneaker heads with what is undeniably one of Crocs’ best silhouettes is designer of the moment Salehe Bembury, who has returned with an all-white version of his Crocs Pollex Clog shoe. This slip-on pair feature a rivet-style design with holes in the toe box, an adjustable heel strap, as well as an all EVA foam upper.

Lanvin Chunky Curb Sneaker

Being one of the most prominent shoes in popular culture in recent months, the Lanvin Chunky Curb Sneaker has been seen on pretty much every celebrity’s foot, with this latest ‘Teal Blue’ iteration bound to draw some eyes. This pair don a similar design to their previously released counterparts, with this iteration simply receiving an all-over teal makeover with teal coloured thick laces. Additionally, Lanvin incorporate an aged midsole to this version of the sneaker, providing a vintage touch to their newest addition.
