Safa Sahin Joins Bottega Veneta Footwear Team

Balmain’s Head of Footwear Safa Sahin has announced that he is set to join Matthieu Blazy at Bottega Veneta, becoming a part of the brand’s Footwear Team.

The in-demand designer has been the creative lead behind an array of unique Balmain shoe designs, having previously been responsible for Balmain’s much-discussed ‘Unicorn’ sneaker, as well as the widely popular Leather Slides. Sahin looks set to help continue Matthieu Blazy’s success at Bottega, bringing his distinct design touch and left-of-centre aesthetic.
