Opting for an environmentally-friendly approach, both Converse and A-COLD-WALL* have joined forces for a simplistic and first-of-its-kind full-body Crater foam silhouette sneaker.
The Sponge Crater CX, which marks their fourth collaborative shoe together, features recycled and repurposed materials from the factory floor and looks to place focus on structural comfort, with a radical exoskeleton and exaggerated heel kick providing extensive under-foot comfort. Labelled as an all-terrain silhouette, the pair lean into A-COLD-WALL*’s distinctive tactical and utilitarian approach, utilising an open structure sock, a breathable flat-knit upper, as well as practical pull-tabs. The colour scheme features a textured sandy beige for the heel and upper overlays, with the sock-style base coming in a rich shade of orange.
The Converse x A-COLD-WALL* Sponge Crater CX Sneaker is set to be available on June 23rd via A-COLD-WALL*’s website.
