Set to be one of the most divisive shoes of the year, Stone Island and New Balance have come together again for two new iterations of the FuelCell RC Elite V2 sneaker.
Announced via the brand’s Instagram, Stone Island gave sneakerheads close-ups of their upcoming collaboration with New Balance, which takes on the FuelCell RC Elite V2 silhouette. This performance-based sneaker boasts a neon contrasting colour palette, with the first of the two pairs featuring “[…] an acidic green knit upper, overlaid with burgundy sourced from a classic 574 colourway”, whilst the second pair opts for a “[…] vivid red knit upper, overlaid with iconic, New Balance grey.” Both pairs feature large Stone Island branding on the stroke design toe box, with other features including a propulsive FuelCell cushioning, a full-length, energy-returning carbon fibre plate, and a breathable knit upper, which is paired with rough around the edges synthetic overlays.
The Stone Island x New Balance FuelCell RC Elite V2 sneaker pack has yet to receive a release date, but a drop is expected imminently. Stay tuned to PAUSE for more information.
