Louis Vuitton and footwear are a match made in heaven, especially in recent years, and with the recent passing of former Artistic Director Virgil Abloh, we are starting to see some of his final designs come to light. For Spring/Summer 2023, Louis Vuitton and Virgil Abloh created the ‘LVSK8’ silhouette, which is set to arrive in a variety of colourways.
Debuting at Louis Vuitton’s hit runway show in Paris, the LVSK8 sneaker is set to release as part of the luxury fashion house’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection with Footwear Designer Elliot Cox taking to Instagram to give close-up imagery of the line-up. The pairs all feature a chunky skater-like aesthetic, with a chunky rubber sole, mesh and studded upper, thick rope laces, fattened tongue, and signature Louis Vuitton branding completing the silhouette. The line-up includes bright green, orange, black, pink/purple, blue, and cream iterations of the sneaker, with each seemingly arriving in a blue marble effect box.
There is no release date for these pairs as of yet, but expect a release at some point this year.
