Comme Des Garçons Homme Plus x Nike Air Max Sunder SP

Kicking off this week’s sneaker round-up are two old friends Comme Des Garçons and Nike, who have joined forces for collaborative iterations of the old-school Air Max Sunder SP sneaker. The standout ‘White/Black’ colourway features an all-over white colour scheme whilst boasting a unique fabric like material for the upper. Other features include Nike and CDG branding on the midfoot and tongue, front-zip fastening, a chunky rubber sole, a pull-tab at the heel, as well as a collaborative branded insole. You can never go wrong with white for summer.


New Balance RC30

New Balance continue their hot streak in the sneaker world as they unveil their new RC30 silhouette, a pair which is set to see a Donald Glover-led makeover next week. This  iteration of the silhouette boasts two-tone blue fabric and suede materials for the upper, matching laces, as well as hits of white on the sock lining and signature New Balance insignia. The 70s-inspired silhouette utilises a twisted outsole for a modern take on a classic low-riding shape.


WOOD WOOD x adidas Forum Low

Adding a tennis aesthetic to the infamous adidas Forum Low sneaker, WOOD WOOD have put together a strapless version of the classic sneaker, which has got sneaker heads around the world excited, with this having long been a requested change. The pair boast a mixed mesh, leather, suede, and rubber composition for the upper, with hits of blue, yellow, and orange adding to that desired 80s vibe. A gum sole adds to the tennis aesthetic, with this pair being just as suitable for the court as they are for everyday life.


adidas x Kerwin Frost Strap Microbounce

Coming in hot again are adidas and their ongoing partnership with pop culture figure Kerwin Frost, who have teamed up for a vibrant version of the adidas Strap Microbounce. This pair boasts Frost’s typically loud design style, with the pair utilising a unique yellow and orange holed midsole, a colour scheme of red, blue, yellow, green for the upper, as well as a Kerwin Frost branded front strap. Additionally, a standout from the pair sees Frost opt for his signature blue hairy overlays, which adorn various parts of the upper, toe box, and heel.


Converse Sponge CX

Closing out this week’s round-up with a very on-trend pair are Converse, who have joined the slip-on revolution with their Sponge CX sneaker. The easy-to-wear pair feature a laceless slip-on design, environmentally-friendly rubber waste composition gathered from the label’s manufacturing facility, a PU foam sock-liner with a spandex collar, as well as a speckled foam crater outsole. The pair arrive in an off-white colourway, with Converse One-Star branding arriving on the shoe’s tongue and heel tab.
