Featuring a host of more affordable garments.
Japanese designer and brand Yohji Yamamoto and Playboy have joined forces on a collaborative capsule collection that incorporates some of Yamamoto’s most iconic designs.
Set to be available exclusively via Yohji Yamamoto’s website for the brand’s alternate S’YTE line, the Yohji Yamamoto x Playboy collection looks to bridge the gap between high fashion and affordability, with this range incorporating classic blazers, shirting, shorts, and balloon pants in less prestige fabrics, instead providing more affordable alternative pieces. With the racy publication having put forward a whole host of collaborations throughout the years, Yohji Yamamoto’s 10-piece capsule with Playboy provides a fresh take on the consistently used Playboy pin-ups, utilising artist Harumi Yamaguchi’s old illustrations across a host of short and long-sleeved t-shirts, button-up camp collar shirts, monogram co-ords, track jackets, and more. Some highlights include a black and white monogram print co-ord set with multiple Playboy covers, a black camp-collar shirt with a Playboy woman graphic on the front, as well as a simple co-branded black t-shirt.
The Yohji Yamamoto x Playboy collection is set to be available via the Yohji Yamamoto website on July 21st.
