Denim Tears Set to Release ‘1619 Pan African Flag’ Capsule Collection

By August 17, 2022Fashion News

Arriving today.

Denim Tears are the brand of the moment and they refuse to slow up for the Summer 2022 season as the Tremaine Emory lead brand unveils their ‘1619 Pan African Flag’ capsule collection.

Having recently dropped their collaborative Levis Season 2 collection, Denim Tears are back with another mini drop, rooting their latest release in Black history with the use of the ‘1619 Pan African Flag’, which reimagines the infamous United States flag by replacing its colours with the red, green, and black of the Pan-African Universal Negro Improvement Association. Shifting with the times, the meaning of the flag continually gains new meaning, with Tremaine Emory potentially utilising the flag in order to further add to the extensive history behind it. The five-piece collection features a knitted jumper, a mid-zip fleece, sweatpants, a rugby top, as well as a t-shirt, with the highlights from the range including a signature white Denim Tears branded t-shirt with a green, red, and black colour scheme, a pink knitted jumper with a central 1619 Pan African Flag graphic, as well as a grey marl rugby top.

The Denim Tears ‘1619 Pan African Flag’ capsule collection is set to be available today, August 16th, via the Denim Tears website.
