Luxury Italian fashion house Bottega Veneta look set to introduce a new sneaker silhouette to their roster for the upcoming Autumn/Winter 2022 season as unofficial imagery arrives for the brand’s new “Pillow” silhouette.
The “Pillow” silhouette keeps a recent trend of skater-inspired sneaker silhouettes in the luxury fashion industry going, with Bottega Veneta being the latest in a long line of brands to hop on the trend. As seen in upcoming releases at ERL x Dior and Louis Vuitton, the skate-inspired silhouettes all boast a robust silhouette, with this pair being no different. Bottega Veneta’s iteration provides a slightly more formalised version of a skate sneaker, boasting a classic rope lace-up front and a clean leather upper, with a fattened tongue and an oversized midsole completing the main standouts of the sneaker. Looking set to arrive in both grey and black colour iterations, the “Pillow” sneaker rocks Bottega Veneta imprinting on both the tongue and sole, with a pull tab at the heel adding a final touch of comfort.
