ActeTM Join Forces with Mercedes-Benz for Sustainable ACC01 Capsule Collection

Berlin-based art and design studio ActeTM have teamed up with worldwide luxury car retailer Mercedes-Benz for a new upcycled capsule collection, titled ‘ACC01’.

Set to be on display tonight, September 5th, in Berlin, the ActeTm x Mercedes-Benz ‘ACC01’ capsule collection features “outsourced leftovers from various applications within Mercedes-Benz”, with the range being “fed into a sustainable recycling process to give them a new life as wearable objects.” The collection boasts the sleek and modern design style of Mercedes-Benz, with the 28-piece range being designed in a way that allows each garment to build on each other functionally. Collaborating with fellow Berlin-based fashion designer Studio Kasia Kucharska, the collaboration utilises their extensive knowledge of sustainable and innovative manufacturing techniques, helping bind both ActeTM and Mercedes-Benz together. Some standout pieces from the teased imagery include the AB-BG01 case, which boasts a curved metal inlay and an external 3D printed case, as well as a white funnel neck windbreaker with oversized balloon sleeves.

The ActeTM x Mercedes-Benz ‘ACC01’ capsule collection is set to showcase for the first time tonight in Berlin, with a full collection release anticipated in the coming months.
