Originally unveiled back in March, Eytys’ anticipated Autumn 2022 collection seeing a full release, with some of the pieces having already dropped.
The capsule shows us how to elevate classic silhouettes the right way, giving traditional garments the Eytys treatment with their fun prints and geometric construction. Take the bomber jacket, for example, which is given an exaggerated cropped cut and an overdye treatment that makes it look aged. The striped oxford shirt is also elevated through laser cuts that give it a ‘3D’ vertical herringbone striping.
The effortless styling for the campaign is sophisticated and edgy, giving off a ‘playful punk’ aesthetic that makes the wearer look cool yet approachable. A lot of this is down to the play on proportions, mixing tight and cropped uppers with loose, baggy bottoms that give a flattering ‘pear’ shape that has been the go-to look for many of the popular fashion houses in recent times.
