Karl Lagerfeld’s History with Cara Delevingne Continues with New Collaboration

By September 14, 2022Fashion News

The Cara Loves Karl collection is available now

With inclusivity and sustainability the focus of the collaboration, Cara Delevingne worked with design director Hun Kim to create a genderless ready-to-wear collection that ranges from modern two-piece suits and button shirts to reversible fleece hoodies and cross-body bags.

Featuring a very Lagerfeld colour palette of black, navy and white, the individual pieces are also customisable with detachable elements to create more styling opportunities and increase versatility. In typical Lagerfeld fashion, the campaign puts emphasis on ‘inventing the future,’ as he would often say, in order to keep up with the times of the online world. The result was Lagerfeld and Delevingne turned into digital avatars, with the British model wearing the collection on her animated self – a timely move considering the metaverse continues to get more traction.
