'KENZO UNIVERSITY' drops in October
Shot by Finnish photographer Osma Harvilahti, Kenzo reveals their second set of visuals for their Autumn/Winter 2022 collection ‘KENZO UNIVERSITY’.
Located in the iconic Lycee Henri IV school in Paris, the setting amplifies the collegiate theme of the new collection that artistic director NIGO was striving for to align with his strong ideals on community and empowering the youth through urban uniforms.
The legendary Japanese designer has done just that with this collection, appointed in the first place for his shared understanding with the luxury house of making runway items wearable outside of fashion shows. The capsule contains various nods to Ivy League dressing from the varsity jackets with the tiger emblem to old-school chunky knits to even patchwork checkered motifs.
