Launched today at Theory's Mayfair Store and retailers worldwide
What better way to debut a capsule than to host an influencer breakfast accompanied by a dance performance and a panel by a major publication’s editor? That’s exactly what Theory have done at their flagship store in Mayfair with the help of i-D magazine fashion editor Bojana Kozarevic and a contemporary dance trio flaunting the collaborative garments. The guest list included Susie Lau, Eddie Wailes, Old Hernandez and Brett Stainland who were also invited to try the clothes on for themselves.
The collection itself is a blend of fine tailoring and technical comfort, resulting in attire that can be worn for work and leisure. Traditional silhouettes such as blazers and long coats are given a modern twist with unstructured shoulders or concealed buttons to further minimise any distractions and emphasise the seamless pattern cutting the Dutch designer is known for. With New York as the inspiration, this collection is made to be worn in a fast-paced, metropolitan environment and keep up with the active lifestyle that comes with living in the city.
