Featuring New Outerwear Styles.
Iconic British fashion house Burberry has stepped forward with their new ‘Night Creatures’ campaign, which features both a film and garment collection.
Looking to celebrate “the power of curiosity and exploration of the unknown”, Burberry’s ‘Night Creatures’ campaign plays on the explorative roots of the brand and its historical ties to multi-functional outerwear. Stepping forward with pieces inspired by the brand’s founder Thomas Burberry and his dedication to exploration, the ‘Night Creatures’ collection looks to “empower the wearer to go beyond the unknown and embark upon unique and exciting adventures”, with their released campaign film underlining exactly that.
Joining forces with MEGAFORCE for the campaign, Burberry brings the story to life by depicting a detailed tale of a set of explorers discovering an undiscovered creature and eventually becoming entangled together through the spirit of adventure, embracing one another under the thematic umbrella that is the unknown. Additional campaign imagery shot by George Eyers continues the theme of exploration, instead utilising the urban city environment of London to capture a host of different perspectives.
Arriving alongside the various campaign projects, the Burberry outwear collection features technical pieces that are “designed to navigate a variety of adventures from outdoor discovery to explorations in the city.” Taking a modern approach to a classic, Burberry has incorporated the Burberry Night Check into this collection, which becomes the latest iteration of the brand’s signature pattern. This version of the iconic print serves as a nod to the brand’s adoration of the natural world as this design in particular mirrors the night sky with white stars placed amongst a sea of dark charcoal blue. Burberry’s new design adorns a wide selection of pieces, including puffer jackets, tactical fleeces, shirts, knitwear and more, with some highlights including a classic Burberry trench coat, a quilted lightweight bomber jacket, as well as cropped checkered fleece.
