Ferragamo Reimagined.
Following new creative director Maximilian Davis’ debut runway collection during September’s Milan Fashion Week, Ferragamo has returned with the first drop from the show for your consideration.
Dubbed “A New Dawn,” the release sees select pieces from the aforementioned collection which take inspiration from both the old glamour of Hollywood and the contemporary “ease and sensuality” of the modern-day celebrity mecca. Turning back the clock and taking notes from pieces Ferragamo himself designed for the likes of Marilyn Monroe, the Jackie Nickerson captured lookbook shows both sides of the coin with influences from the past and present-day presented throughout. Speaking on the release, Davis commented:
“I wanted to pay tribute to Salvatore’s start by bringing in the culture of Hollywood – but new Hollywood, Its ease and sensuality; its sunset and sunrise.”
