DW Launch Uncensored Collection in Support of Journalists Worldwide

‘Fashion for Free Minds’

Take yourself away from the biases of the mainstream media with DW and the international broadcaster’s new campaign launching in partnership with the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ).

Aiming to bring attention to ways to circumvent censorship and support journalists from all around the globe, the ‘Uncensored Collection’ showcases the designs of Berlin-based Marco Scaino with each garment featuring an instruction label to help people access independent media no matter where they are.

“We are grateful to DW for partnering with CPJ on this innovative campaign to ensure that no one is deprived of the fundamental right to be informed” said Gypsy Guillén Kaiser, Advocacy and Communications Director at CPJ.

From the striking ‘SPELL OUT’ sweatshirt to the ‘DIVISION’ tote bag, the five-piece collection will see net proceeds donated to the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) in the promotion of press freedom worldwide.
