A visionary of contemporary culture
It’s fair to say that whatever the late Virgil Abloh put his genius into became nothing other than a masterpiece. Before his passing Virgil – a master of Architecture – worked alongside Italian furniture label, Cassina, on a project rooted in the elementary creative process of play and both questions and develops the design implications of modularity.
Modular Imagination by Virgil Abloh is composed of two different-sized building blocks that are designed to create, adapt and rebuild space in the form of anything from a pouf or a bench to a table by simply combining the pair in various fashions.
Complete with distinctive ‘Cassa-Abloh’ logos on each side and contrasting cylindrical orange feet, Modular Imagination joins the Cassina catalogue as a permanent fixture and is now available to buy in the UK.
