Daily Paper has been evolving season after season and SS23′ is no different as the Amsterdam-based label taps into North African cultural history to inspire the latest capsule titled, ‘Under the Same Moon.’
These references start out strong as we are presented with a standout piece in the form of the woven tapestry jacquard suits that use henna dye, a traditional North African craft that uses natural materials, giving off some Trompe l’oeil vibes due to the nature of the dye. An eclectic mix of earth tones and saturated colours can be seen throughout the collection that not only nods to the importance placed on nature, but also alludes to the bold design codes of Daily Paper that we’ve all grown to love and appreciate. Seasonal bags will also be on offer, donning a monogram print that can be seen on other pieces, as well as a new tote bag, which arrives in black.
