Having had a successful 2022 with the release of their well-received adidas collaboration and their team-up with The North Face, luxury Italian fashion house Gucci have opened up 2023 with their ‘Year of the Rabbit’ collection in celebration of the Chinese New Year.

After debuting their Après Ski collection campaign at the end of last year, Gucci have wasted no time in stepping forward with another eye-catching collection, unveiling a range of rabbit-inspired pieces for the Chinese New Year. Utilising the lovable fluffy animal for a host of pieces, the latest Gucci range features a selection of ready-to-wear garments for both men and women, including denim jackets, longline parkas, knitwear, hoodies, shirts, trousers, skirts and dresses, with additional accessories including bags, jewellery, shoes, and more. Looking to captivate the traditional Chinese depiction of the rabbit, representing intelligence, longevity, and health, some highlights from the collection include a pair of traditional black loafers adorned with Gucci house colours and a graffiti-style blue rabbit design across the front, a multicoloured spell-out checkerboard cardigan, as well as a pale yellow and multi-colour graffiti-style tracksuit adorned with Gucci lettering.

The Gucci ‘Year of the Rabbit’ collection is available to shop now via the Gucci website.
