A Closer Look after the FW23' Show.
KidSuper’s Colm Dillane has probably had the best 2023 out of all of us, with a lifetime dream of working with Louis Vuitton coming to fruition at Paris Fashion Week just over a week ago.
For his own label, the New York-based designer has given us a more detailed look at the upcoming footwear for his recently unveiled FW23′ show “FUNNY BUSINESS” with a brand new low-top boot silhouette in an all-suede. With no official name for the silhouette (even urging his followers to help him give it a name), the shoe combines a traditional derby through the round, low-cut shape with hiking boot details with the metal lace loops, rope laces and chunky sole. The ‘KidSuper touch’ is added through the panelling seen on the forefoot of the shoe that acts as the window for colour-blocking possibilities, with brighter hues of the predominant colour being implemented in those areas for a pop of vibrance.
