A Complete Reimagination.
CLOT’s Edison Chen has been making waves in the sneaker community in the past week thanks to his preview of Nike and CLOT’s upcoming collaboration on the Nike Cortez like we’ve never seen it.
From the preview he provided on his Instagram post, the sneaker can be worn in two different ways as the shoe features an additional removable shoe guard in black that uses the traditional Cortez outsole – much like Alyx’s Vibram Sole or UGG’s trending shoe guard. Separate the sole from the upper and you get a flat-soled sporty shoe with a white leather upper, reminiscent of Balenciaga’s Zen shoe that takes from classic Lonsdale and Slazenger shoes.
Although there isn’t an official release date as of yet, stay tuned for more on this anticipated collaboration.
