With the holiday season behind us, there is still another festivity to look forward to; the Chinese New Year. Nike is well aware of the big occasion and has unveiled their latest in celebratory footwear in the form of the Nike Dunk Low ‘Year of the Rabbit’ following leaks that surfaced this past November.
The rabbit-themed sneakers feature furry accents on the swoosh and tongue banners to resemble the animal’s fuzzy exterior. The Nike logo on the tongue is also replaced by a Chinese character that translates to this year’s zodiac animal. Complimenting these rabbit motifs are colourful shades of teal, blue, red, yellow and tan that are tastefully scattered on the upper with a touch of gold on the heel tab and counter.
