POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) Taps into its Archive for AW23 Collection

By January 17, 2023Fashion News

Titled '5.1'.

As a brand synonymous with evolution whilst maintaining its core aesthetics and values, POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) continues to impress the fashion world thanks to their elite pattern cutting, fabric choice and wearable utilitarian aesthetic. However, the upcoming Autumn/Winter season will mark the end of ‘CHAPTER ONE’ as the South Korean label looks to the future and how they can innovate their design codes further.

‘5.1’ sees PAF unveil the final version of styles that were staples from ‘1.0’ to last season’s ‘5.0’, diving back into their archive to elevate their silhouettes further through new fabrications, motifs and overall concept. Certain styles are even getting combined to produce their final forms such as the 5.0 LONG SLEEVE RIGHT and the 5.0 SKIRT CENTER which produce the 5.1 DRESS RIGHT. Perforations are a consistent motif in this capsule as shirts, jackets and bottoms are uniquely cut up to not only reveal the layer underneath but also give the piece a more aggressive texture. As usual, colour schemes stay relatively neutral except for hints of vibrant green that can be seen in various tones ranging from mint to lime on a wide array of products.

The collection is set to release globally in September.
