With the release of his latest album, ‘Mansion Musik,’ Trippie Redd continues to explore the ambiguity of his music through a 25-song collection…and it’s worth noting that the offering is quite aptly the size of a mansion.
As a homage to Chief Keef’s iconic Mansion Musick Mixtape from 2018, the album is drenched in hazy-rap elements accompanied by a handful of heavyweight collaborators. Unveiling one of the many visuals taken from the body of work (conceptually produced by Keef himself), ‘BIGGEST BIRD’ features Louisianna’s very own Summrs.
Amidst a sombre atmosphere, the visuals display both artists back-to-back atop a thunderous instrumental. And whilst we appreciate the musicality of the duo, it would only be right as a fashion-led publication to also appreciate the stylistic sensibilities that too were on display. Whether it’s Casablanca or Marni, it only takes one look at Redd’s outfits to realise that there is classic Americana and Parisian vernacular in there too.
