As a sub-label to the widely known Vetements founded by Demna and Guram Gvasalia, VTMNTS is the opposite of the loud, chaotic nature that exudes through the main label and instead focuses on elevating traditional silhouettes through expert tailoring; this Autumn/Winter 2023 collection is a testament to that.
The versatile, minimalist collection is meant to seamlessly fit into most wardrobes, to be worn constantly due to the neutral colour palette that pertains throughout this season’s offering. Cuts are traditional yet given the modern flair of a more relaxed silhouette, not looking out of place in a fashionable individual’s ensemble. The clothes don’t attract attention through gimmicks or prints – just masterful pattern cutting that brings attention to detail and high-end fabrics to the forefront. Standouts in the collection are most definitely the leather pieces – arriving in the form of a blazer, trench coat and trousers – that embody this collection: a quiet statement through beautiful textures and flattering curves.
