"Cartoon Boots for a Cool 3D World."
Looking at the current fashion zeitgeist, there aren’t many brands pushing the envelope of design, humour and marketing quite like MSCHF who have yet to miss with any of their recent releases. This one is no different as they unveil their brand new Big Red Boot, a shoe like no other in today’s market and one that’s making all the noise.
Comprised of a entirely red TPU Rubber Shell as well as an EVA midsole and outsole, the bulbous boot is as simple as it gets yet, at the same time, as mindblowing as it gets. The exaggerated shape is down to them being designed to be shaped “extremely” like boots instead of being molded around human feet, giving them a cartoon-like, oversized silhouette that’s obnoxious, weird but really cute.
You’d think that a boot this ridiculous would be near impossible to style but Sarah Snyder comes to the rescue as she makes them look chic and effortless running errands around New York City and swerving around in her Go-Kart.
The shoes will be available to purchase on February 16th at 11 AM EST on MSCHF.com and on the MSCHF Sneakers app.
