N.Hoolywood’s Test Product Exchange collection looks back to the 1980s for inspiration, taking from the time period’s military gear and photographing the lookbook in a vintage gym with an analogue effect to recreate the unique atmosphere of the fun-loving decade.
At first glance, the capsule seems like a dedicated homage to the militant uniform from 40 years ago but, upon closer inspection, we can see that cotton fabrics are replaced with performance polyester to keep up with contemporary materials. Silhouettes stay true to the roomy cuts from that era but are given a modern update through draw pulls on pockets or zippered sleeves that allow for added styling opportunities, putting forward an attention to detail that tips the balance of mundane towards stealthy interest.
