After a while out of the spotlight, BAPE x adidas Originals is back and better than ever, with the duo debuting a new take on the iconic Campus 80s sneaker.
Having previously linked up for an array of collaborative efforts, including co-designed iterations of the Superstar and Boost silhouettes, BAPE and adidas Originals are putting themselves back into the sneaker conversation with a new take on the Campus 80s sneaker. Taking to social media to unveil some official imagery for the pair, the retro-styled sneaker receives a BAPE-led makeover as the BAPE STA appliqué takes the place of adidas’ famous Three Stripes, which is normally found on one side of the shoe. Additionally, co-branded details, gold heel patches, and gold-coloured lace jewels finish off the look, with a custom printed box adding a distinct BAPE x adidas Originals touch.
The BAPE x adidas Originals Campus 80s sneaker will be available via the BAPE website on April 1st.
