English heritage brand Fred Perry have unveiled a follow-up collaboration with iconic streetwear outfit A Bathing Ape, with the duo coming together for a five-piece clothing capsule.
Reworking a selection of iconic Fred Perry silhouettes, this latest collaboration sees both Fred Perry and A Bathing Ape come together yet again, with the pair making sure to bridge the gap between the former’s firmly preppy aesthetic and the latter’s bold stance on streetwear. The collection’s limited range of pieces includes some everyday must-haves, with classic polo shirts, taped track jackets and hooded sweatshirts making the cut, with Fred Perry’s iconic shapes being adorned with A Bathing Ape’s signature camouflage prints in purple and black/grey. The campaign imagery for this collaboration was shot at night on the streets of London and Tokyo, highlighting the relationship both entities have with up-and-coming global subcultures, being snapped through a more modern 21st-century lens.
The Fred Perry x A Bathing Ape capsule collection will be available to shop via both brands’ websites on March 11th.
