Inspired by clear Californian skies, AMIRI’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection is the epitome of effortless yet classy, creating a new agenda for what it means to be sophisticated in a laid-back manner. In a campaign shot by Jonas Lindstroem and creatively directed by Jonny Lu Studio, models walk atop a Mike Amiri monogrammed floor with a monolithic MA sculpture in the background.
Hues of blue are ever-present in this capsule as silhouettes differ in formality and style ranging from reconstructed double-breasted blazers to sheer knit vests to even printed short-sleeve button-ups. Cuts for bottoms stay wide and flowy whilst shorts are tailored yet oversized for a chic summer look. West Coast skate culture bleeds through the collection too, thanks to the MA-1 sneaker that features a chunky rubber outsole, a heavily padded tongue and colour-blocked leather panelling.
