"You Drive Me BONKERS!"
A hero amongst the youth, London’s very own Protect has been taking the local fashion scene by storm thanks to their emblematic Spike Denim, which has sold out in minutes with every restock, and their recent pop-up in Soho, London that saw dozens of people scrambling for a taste of anything Protect. With this upcoming drop, the brand’s founders – Peter Fagnoni and Egor Erkin – came together to reminisce on their time together at school when their maths teacher would yell “you drive me BONKERS!” to their rebellious antics. The result is the Bonkers Denim, an essential pair of baggy jeans.
Featuring a relaxed silhouette with a slight taper at the ankle for ultimate versatility, the denim arrives in two iterations: “Everday Blue” and “Scribble Black”. The former is a stonewash blue with a subtle vintage tint and the signature P logo on the upper left thigh whilst the latter is a stealthy black with contrast stitching and the brand’s scribble logo at the crotch. The details don’t end there as more embroidery can be found on both back pockets and the bottom right hem as well as a custom leather patch on the waist.
The Bonkers Denim will be available on March 23rd via the brand’s website.
