Reimagining House Staples.
Taking inspiration from the posh “Eton Boys” and “Teddy Girls”, French-Japanese brand Maison Kitsuné modernises traditional collegiate looks for the modern day to create a preppy capsule with rebellious, punk undertones.
American and British school uniforms are merged with Varsity Jackets mixed in with striped Rugby Shirts, with customised Maison Kitsuné emblems and badges spread across the whole collection. Traditionally fitted items such as school shorts and V-neck sweaters are given oversized silhouettes for a more contemporary look and feel. Evening looks are also present in this offering with denim and workwear sets as well as bombers with the same striped detailing seen on other looks. The colours are moody and earthy, being contrasted with the floral and lighthearted prints seen throughout the capsule.
