Timberland Celebrates 50 Years of Hip Hop with Hip Hop Royalty Boot

Two Inextricably Interlinked Worlds.

You’ll find something new with every single glance at Timberland’s new Hip Hop Royalty boot as the iconic footwear label infuse each of the model’s elements with Hip Hop’s pioneering spirit to celebrate 50 years of both the game-changing scene and the brand’s Classic Yellow Boot.

Boasting a bold purple and gold colourway with a graffiti-style logo to the side, mini-microphone aglets, and a ‘Sedgwick Ave.’ tag at the tongue, the ankle-length silhouette is designed in partnership with CNSTNT DVLPMNT founder, Chris Dixon to advance the representation of Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour in the fashion industry.

“The Hip Hop Royalty Boot project is Timberland’s way of giving Hip Hop its flowers and showing appreciation for what they have done for the brand,” said Chris Dixon.

Incorporating the four elements of Hip Hop – MCing, DJing, break dance and graffiti – the Hip Hop Royalty boot is now available via the Timberland website.
