Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance look to be back, and saying they were a match made in heaven would be a considerable understatement. Looking set to step forward with their latest effort, the 1906 silhouette receives a signature ALD makeover.
Having most famously joined forces for a selection of signature NB sneakers, including minimalist takes on the 550, 2002R and 997 silhouettes, Aimé Leon Dore can’t help themselves as they look to delve their hand into the New Balance honey pot once again, with unofficial imagery arriving for the 1906 sneaker. Keeping to a traditional ALD colour palette, the breathable mesh-based sneaker boasts a green and white colour scheme with accents of silver and gold adding a sleek modern touch, whilst signature N logos take their customary place on the midfoot. Adding a newfound detail, ALD opt for a rather apt spring time dose of flowers for the tongue graphic.
