A Heavier Focus on Footwear.
With the success of their inaugural release, Gucci and Adidas were always bound to reunite for a second offering. This time, however, the focus is on footwear as three silhouettes in the Gazelle, ZX8000 and Adilette slides headline the collection.
Channelling a vibrant colour palette, the ZX8000 receives a brighter makeover with recurring tones of hot pink, neon yellow and highlighter green. The Gazelles slightly turn down the saturation as shades of brown, blue, black and green arrive in a much more subdued manner. Gucci’s monogram is heavily featured in both models and becomes a running motif in this capsule. Alongside these flagship sneakers are some colourful Adilette slides with Gucci branding and some apparel bits that include pleated trackpants, monogram shorts and co-branded knitwear.
