After his heavily-publicised departure from Bottega Veneta, Daniel Lee’s start to life at Burberry has garnered mixed reviews, but his affection for championing UK musical talent has been a distinct highlight from his time at the iconic UK fashion house so far.
Having already tapped the likes of Skepta, Shygirl, Georgia May Jagger, Lennon Gallagher and more for campaigns so far, Daniel Lee and Burberry have continued to delve into the roots of UK music culture – and specifically Grime culture – by celebrating elite MC Kano for their latest range of imagery. Shot and filmed by Tyrone Lebon, the latest imagery depicts East Ham native Kano overseeing his home town in a classic Burberry trench coat, while the second shot sees the ‘3 Wheel-ups’ hitmaker in a black and white close-up donning an all-black blazer and turtle neck ensemble.
